It has been a long hot summer in the northeast. So, what better place to go and get some relief is the beautiful water of Bonaire. The photos on this page were taken during our August 2011 visit to our condo at Sand Dollar and Bari Reef.

Using a Nikon D200 in an Aquatica housing, equipped with a set of dual Nikonos SB-105 strobes, Alan shot all the underwater photos on this page. The sunset photo was taken with the iPad2.

Except for the photos of Joan and the butterfly fish, which were taken with the Nikon 12-24mm lens and Aquatica 8 inch dome port, all the underwater photos were shot with the Nikon 60mm lens using the Aquatica macro port.
